Sylvia's Kosher is a great little market with so much to offer. The Kosher chicken and ground beef were fresh and reasonably priced. I was happy to find my favorite brand of hummus right inside the door. I picked up two fresh pita that was still warm. I also got Italian eggplant appetizer, lemons and fresh parsley. I will be making Sylvia's a regular stop when I'm in the area.
I like silvia's market one issue must of the items don't have prices market. you have to get them bringing to the register to they do check the price for you this is terrible I don't know way?maybe it is no enough personal ....other then this I recommend it the products are fresh , they have many good stuff the pitas , the chabah is very good.....,
We love Sylvia's, and always drive from a half hour away to purchase our kosher meat there ( even though there are many stores within a 5 minute drive). They have by far the freshest meat and best cuts of any south Florida butcher, if you don't see what you need at front, ask one of the butchers and they'll gladly prepare it for you. They also have a nice selection of groceries and kosher wines. The owners are always so friendly and extremely appreciative. Highly recommend for any kosher meat consumers.
After shopping at many kosher supermarkets. I started shopping only at Sylvia's. Got to chat a few times with Steven and Yocheved, they are so sweet, and they truly appreciate their customers. A true family business! The meat is INCREDIBLE. The quality is outstanding! The prices are great! Very fresh! I also love the cold cuts from them, very nicely sliced, fresh and cheap! I don't even live in Hollywood, but I drive especially to Sylvia's for whatever I need! The best kosher supermarket ever!
Ordering was a breeze, I told them upfront I knew what I wanted. Some caterers do not listen, and promote other selections. The person I spoke with did not challenge my ideas. My order was ready on-time and was delicious, my guest enjoyed!
